I have the worst luck with e-Readers. I have a Nook. The first Nook I had died on day 2 of my ownership. Barnes and Noble replaced it. A few months later, Nook #2 wouldn't start up and it was replaced as well. Last week, Miles got his "iPad" (Kindle Fire) and last night it died. To turn it on, you push a little button which is now stuck in the "pushed in" position. I called Amazon this morning and a new Kindle Fire is on it's way. While I'm grateful for warranties, I seem to get the dud units!
