Nolan has had it, and it's about time too! For the past several nights Nolan has refused to go to sleep at night. He goes to bed at 9 p.m., but well after 10 p.m. I'd still hear him bouncing around. He's been getting up early too- 6 a.m. instead of 7:30 a.m. A late sleeping time and early waking up time leads to meltdowns. He says he is homesick because Dan is on travel. Cute! He says his life "sucks" because his cub scouts is during the day and Jonathan goes to scouts at night. He thinks all Jonathan does at scouts is play nightgames and that isn't fair. It took him nearly 2 hours to do his math homework tonight because it is "stupid" and "too hard" (it's telling time on a clock with hands and he's only been doing that since first grade...). He's been in tears multiple times tonight over every little thing. His screwed up sleep schedule has finally caught up with him. Needless to say, he's upstairs getting ready for bed and it's only 8:11 p.m. Hopefully he'll fall asleep fast and wake up late tomorrow. He needs a good sleep because tomorrow is "Dad's and Doughnuts" at his school. I need him to have a good sleep just because I do.
